Postdoc position University of Marburg

The Public Economics Group at the University of Marburg, is seeking to recruit a Post Doc (m/f/d). The position starts in September 2021. The successful candidate has the opportunity to develop her/his academic profile in research and teaching for 4 years, with a possible prolongation for another 2 years. This position does not offer a tenure-track option. (The time limitation is based on § 65 (2) HHG and § 2 (1) WissZeitVG, respectively.)

Tasks include research and teaching, in particular in public economics and applied microeconomics.

We require graduate studies in economics/business, a PhD in economics, and a documented very good working knowledge in the areas of public economics and applied microeconomics. We expect teaching experience in different formats, research focused on applied microeconomics, very good English and German skills (C1), and at least one publication in a highly regarded economics journal with peer review. An interest in law & economics and applying for third-party funding will be appreciated.
